Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FundHub360. FundHub360 connects university project teams with backers and supporters. Launch projects, raise funding, and bring innovation to life.
Effective date: September 13, 2026 · FundHub360 (fundhub360.com)
1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, accessing fundhub360.com, or using any FundHub360 feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of an institution, company, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
2. What the Platform is
FundHub360 is a technology platform that enables project teams (often university-affiliated) to publish campaigns, accept contributions, run competitions and Demo Day / showcase experiences, and interact with backers, sponsors, faculty, judges, and institution administrators.
We are not a bank, broker-dealer, crowdfunding portal under securities law, escrow agent, or guarantor of project outcomes. Contributions are generally gifts or patronage to support a project unless a campaign expressly states otherwise and applicable law permits a different structure. Campaign pages are not offers to sell securities.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
- Certain roles (for example student, faculty, or institution admin) may require a verified academic email or other affiliation checks.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose risk, or fail verification.
4. Roles on the Platform
Features available to you depend on your role and permissions. Creators and teams are responsible for campaign content, fulfillment of any stated rewards or deliverables, academic integrity, and compliance with their institution’s policies. Backers are responsible for reviewing campaign materials before contributing. Sponsors and institutions are responsible for the accuracy of branding, prize terms, matching-pool rules, and any commitments they publish. Judges and faculty must handle competition materials confidentially as required by the competition rules.
5. Campaigns and content
- You retain ownership of content you upload, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate and promote the Platform and the campaigns you publish.
- You represent that you have all rights needed to post your content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law or institutional policy.
- We may remove or restrict content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate, or that creates payment, fraud, or safety risk.
- Public campaigns, showcases, and competition pages may be indexed or shared via links you or we distribute.
6. Contributions, payments, and fees
Contributions and sponsorship packages are processed by Stripe or other payment partners. By paying, you authorize charges for the amounts shown at checkout, including applicable platform or processing fees disclosed before you confirm payment.
Backing a project is typically a contribution, not a purchase of equity or a guaranteed product. Project teams may fail to deliver as described. Except where required by law or expressly stated by us or the payment provider, contributions are non-refundable once processed. Refund requests are handled according to campaign terms, Stripe rules, and our fraud/dispute procedures.
Creators and institutions are responsible for tax reporting and any obligations arising from funds they receive. We may withhold, delay, or reverse payouts when required by law, payment-network rules, or suspected abuse.
7. Competitions, prizes, and sponsorships
Competition rules, eligibility, judging criteria, prize amounts, and timelines are set by the competition organizer (which may be an institution or FundHub360) and may be updated with notice on the competition page. Sponsor challenge prizes and matching pools are subject to the package terms accepted at checkout and any published track rules.
We may pause or cancel a competition feature for integrity, safety, or operational reasons. Prize fulfillment is the responsibility of the party designated in the competition or sponsorship materials.
8. AI-assisted features
Some features use automated or AI-assisted analysis (for example search, comparisons, or diligence summaries). Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not legal, financial, investment, patent, or academic advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on those outputs.
9. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for illegal activity, fraud, money laundering, or sanctions violations.
- Misrepresent identity, affiliation, funding use, or project status.
- Harass, discriminate, or post content that is defamatory, obscene, or exploitative.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape at abusive scale, reverse engineer non-public systems, or interfere with Platform integrity.
- Circumvent fees, verification, or security controls.
- Upload malware or content that violates intellectual-property or privacy rights.
10. Platform intellectual property
The FundHub360 name, logos, software, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our branding or software except as expressly allowed in writing.
11. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNDHUB360 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CAMPAIGNS WILL SUCCEED, THAT CONTENT IS ACCURATE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNDHUB360 AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY CAMPAIGN, COMPETITION, OR PAYMENT.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
13. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify FundHub360 and its affiliates against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, campaigns, contributions, sponsorships, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, risk, legal compliance, or extended inactivity. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence require otherwise. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or Platform security.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with an updated effective date (currently September 13, 2026). Material changes may be highlighted in-product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
